Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your query it seems like you have Apthous Stomatitis causing Glossitis that is inflammation of tongue and there seems to be inflammation of the tongue papillae along with inflammation of the tongue mucosa..
It can occur due to a number of causes like deficiency of iron and
vitamin B12, dry mouth, stress, hormonal imbalances
allergic reaction to any medicine or food, oral infections, diabetes,
hypothyroidism etc..
You should consult an Oral Physician and after a thorough clinical examination he can advise you to get investigations like Blood sugar, serum vitamin B12 and
hemoglobin % done, hormonal profile done..
Treatment of the underlying illness or disease will help in resolving the symptoms..
As of now start with a supportive treatment like gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine, take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, suck ice pops and do cold water rinses..
Maintain a good
oral hygiene to prevent secondary infections..
Drink plenty of water and chew sugar free chewing gums..
Avoid hot ,spicy and hard foods..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
