hi i have pneumonia and copd should i got ahead and get the flu shot i was exsoped to the flu 5 days ago muy husband had it and is just getting over it .i missed i shot bc i was in the hosptail with a chest cold and when i got out i was told no while i was sick

if the outbreak of influenza in your area, it is anticipated u take flu shot, u r at risk.
probably your vital parameters was normal at the time of discharge, n no complications anticipated. so discharged saying u r ok.

get sputum culture/ blood culture for bacteria, n go for molecular diagnosis for influenzae.
