What Is The Treatment For Pneumonia And Cough?

i am suffering from cough for past 14 days, completed course of 500mg azithromycin for five days , then put on augumintin 1000mg bd for 5 days , x-rays point to pneumonia symptoms but chest physian not sure,put me on foracort 200,tab montair,tb wrclar 500mg bd and tab cephchamp 325mg bd, 3 days past still no rest pl advise what should i do

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

You have given antibiotic as well as bronchodilator drugs....

You can have pneumonia as you have mentioned....
Respiratory examination might done at that time and creps heard if pneumonia....

Pleury in pneumonia can lead severe chest pain ....
It will take some time for resolution...

If still no much benefit after antibiotic and bronchodilator use then investigate further with pulmonary function test by spirometry and CT scan if needed.....

Avoid respi irritants like smoking and pollutants.....

Oregano herbs useful for soothing respi tract by decreasing histamin....

Keeping these in mind consult pulmologist...
If tuberculosis suspected then sputum examination done...
