OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question. Wysolone is steroid and it can be safely taken in pregnancy up to 60 mg a day, without any effect on the fetus. Steroid causes deranged blood sugar levels, increased blood pressure and increased chances of intraocular pressure ( may cause glaucoma) in the person taking it for long duration.
I suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist and get your wife properly examined, investigated and treated. Regular blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar levels testing and eye checkup should be done throughout the pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
