What Is The Treatment For Recurring Boils On Face And Neck?

Hello Doctor, My brother has been suffering with recurring boils especially on his face and neck for the last 4 months. We have taken to different physicians and skin doctors but none of the treatments worked as permanent solution for him. We are confused as what is major cause and who will be specialist for treating this condition.

Hello,
There can be various causes for boils.Its an infection caused by bacterias.My suggestion is check blood sugar level of your brother fasting and postprandial.As diabetes may be one of cause of recurrent boils.Second thing take some precautions like dont directly touch the boils,always keep the skin clean,make handwashing a regular practice,dont share the towels.If there is pus in the boil sometimes it needs to be drained by your doctor.Make these healthy practices and sure these will help.
