What Is The Treatment For Redness Of Neck And Shoulders?
Good evening from the UK. I have experinced for the past 6 months a very uncomfortable condition. My neck and shoulders, more often than not, are extremely hot and quite red. This is NOT eczma. I have had eczma in the past and still do have small patches on my feet. It does subside from time to time, however it seems to be getting more angry and is when it does go red, and has spread to the sides of my stomach and torso. It s very uncomfortable, mainly due to the excess heat it is producing. I use Avino cream, which works well. A steroid cream make sit go crazy so I avoid. Any idea s would be most welcome. I live in the UK so no issues with the environment keeping me too hot, and its winter here at the moment. I m thinking allergy or infection?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to a heat rash. I suggest using an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg. I also suggest using a mild cream such as Calamine lotion for local application. If the symptoms continue, you should see a dermatologist for further evaluation.
