What Is The Treatment For Ringworm?

Hi I travelled abroad and came back with ringworm it started on as a spot and got itchy when I got back went to pharmacy and I got anti fungal cream it kind of work but it spread even more wider and after a week I got another one on my thigh am using cream but still is there and itchy now today I wake up I find another one starting so what should I do? As am worried it may spread all over and the itch is so sting badly so should I see a doctor to ask for pills or?

Hi.
As per your case history of ringworm, my treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
