I had a negative pregnancy test but have been experiencing pain in my abdomen which I don't usually experience.I am due for my period on Monday. In the past 2-3 days I have had very noticeable veins in my breast directly to the nipple and then down my right side to my mid torso. Again this is not usual for me and I am unsure what its from
HI. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
You have two different problems 1. Pain in lower abdomen and due for periods 2 A noticeable vein as explained by you.
1. The pain in lower abdomen in such a situation can be due to PID- Pelvic Inflammatory disease or an Ovarian cyst / Salpingitis or enteritis and so on. Ultrasonography, relevant blood, urine and stool tests will help to get a proper diagnosis and plan fora treatment if need be.
2. The vein- this is called idiopathic Phlebo-thrombosis. There is no known reason for this problem; it is self-limiting disorder and does not need any active treatment at all. If you are very much worried a dose of tapering steroids can help. Nothing to worry about it at all.
