What Is The Treatment For Severe Chest Pain In The Center Of Chest?

My 16 year old son plays soccer. He started having chest pains last year so we panicked and started taking him to our family Dr. no problems found. We then went to a cardiologist who ran an EKG and a cardiogram and again no problems found. We then went to an asthma specialist who also found no problems but he still has severe chest pain in the center of his chest when they do lots of running at practice. I am worried sick and any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello
You should be worried but not too much ( don't panic ).
I see similar cases among young peoples who visit my clinic .
As in your son case , asthma, heart disease are ruled out so this is a good thing .
This pain may be due to exertion ( over exertion ) so advise your son do practice but as soon as he feels pain in the chest take rest and start again .
In this way his stamina will increase .
Some high protein diet will also help.
Take some proton pump inhibitors this will reduce hyper acidity as this amy be the reason for such type of pain.
Good luck
