What Is The Treatment For Shoulder Pain?

hi, i am 16 and had shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff and lubrum a little over 2 months ago. my physical therapist is now wanting to do a pec release. I am having pain, and so am not opposed to the idea of it. but what exactly is done, and how painful is it?
