Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus infection along with heavy coughing which means you are suffering from condition known as chronic sinusitis. It could be due to infection in lymph nodes as well/ eustachian tube dysfunction as well. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take nasal decongestant sprays, Antihistamines and antibiotic combination as infection is present. Co amoxiclav is best treatment option. You should take steam inhalation. Avoid intake of outside food. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for paranasal sinus X ray and get puncture and drainage of sinus if required. You can go for surgical reconstruction of opening after proper prescription. Do warm saline gargles.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you have got a cold with sinus infection and blood in ear can be due to ear infection secondary to sinus infection and cold as there is a direct communication between the ear and throat via Eustachian tube..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you a course of antibiotics like Augmentin or continue Azithromycin, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, mucolytics like Ambroxol, saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation, antibiotic and steroid ear drops along with decogestant nasal sprays..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
