What Is The Treatment For Skin Mite?

I have been battling a skin mite for 6 months now, Ive been to 3 Drs, took my cat to 2 vets, we both have taken medication, bathing her, scrubbing me, creams, pyrithrins, pills, holistics, parasite detox, lime sulfur dip, diametious earth, moved everything out of the house even. I vacuum daily, wash clothes in hot water, I have quaranteened the cat...so much and I still have not been able to rid these mites. I think it is Cheyleteilla mite from my symptoms and what I have read online. I was referred to an infectious disease Dr who cannot see me until 1 month from now. I am about to go crazy.... help!

Hi.
As per your clinical history you are suffering from mite infection. But we need to ask few questions.
1. What type of rash u have?
2. Whether it is itching more at night?
3. Whether other family members have similar complains?
Follow the following advice and you will be fine-
1. Continue proper hygiene care. Twice daily bathing, washing all clothes bed-sheets in hot-water weekly once. Be away from your pet.
2. Use Permethrin 5% lotion application once a week only at night from neck to feet.
3. Tab.Ivermectin 12 mg can be given once in 15days.Anti-histaminics for itching to be used
4. Consult a veterniary doctor for your pet.
