What Is The Treatment For Skin Rashes In The Neck And Cheek?
Hi, this morning I woke up to a small rash on the side of my neck and bottom of cheek. Noticed it on BOTH of my ear lobes. My ears have been itchy all week but just thought maybe it was irritated due to me wearing heavy earrings. They are small red bumps!
I can understand your concern. It seems that you have developed an allergic reaction to some allergen. It might be due to the earrings, too.
You can start taking antihistamine such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5 days. If it will be an allergic reaction, it will subside with this medication.
If this reaction occurs frequently, then you should go for a blood test for allergy. It will find out what substance is causing you this allergic reaction so you can avoid it in future.
If the reaction does not subside with this medication in 2 days, then you should see a dermatologist for examination of the areas and further investigations and treatment.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
