What Is The Treatment For Spinal Disc Herniation?

I have several herniated disc, 4 in the lower lumbar, and 3 in mid back. Recently the pain has increased to be almost unbearalbe at all time. The pain i feel is in my acctuall bones when i touch them they are very tender to the point it brings tears to my eyes..i have been living with this since i was 18 and am 31 now. The last spinal specialist dismissed it as that i just irretated prior herniations, but the pain hasn't stopped in almost a year and gets worse by day. Could it be more than just the herniations now?
