What Is The Treatment For Spreading Acne When Suffering From Eczema?

As of recently (i would say a week or so) I've been dealing with an eczema outbreak. I'm 17 and this is my first time having a serious eczema outbreak. It started from my left pectoral then it went to my arm, chest, abdomen, back, and now my right temple. I would say that I deal with stress well but this is making me stress out and the only time I break out in acne is . . . you guessed it when i stress out. With all of this going out my forehead is riddled with acne. So please, is there anything I can do to stop the spreading and heal my skin?

Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Stress although has no definitive role in pathogenesis of acne but it does seem to exacerbate acne in a few.

If i was your treating doctor I would have put you on topical antiacne medications e.g Clindamycin 1% gel during the day and Benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night time.

Oral antibiotics either doxycycline or Azithromycin may also be required (if the lesions are inflammatory)after having a look by your treating dermatologist.
