What Is The Treatment For Stomach Pain?

My 8 year-old has stomach pressure and says he can't stand up. He doesn't want to eat and is complaining about pressure. He woke up at 4:00 a.m. and said he had trouble breathing but now he can breathe fine and it's just the pressure towards his left side.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

Pressure on the left side of the abdomen in a child of 8 years can be due to fecolith impaction or volvulus of the sigmoid or worm impaction.

The severe pain causes breathlessness.
I would suggest you the following:
X-ray in the standing position
Diagnosis to be confirmed.

This can be treated by a Saline-soap enema.
