What Is The Treatment For Strep Throat , Headache And Tonsillitis?

Hello, I am having pain in my tonsils. My right tonsil is swollen and has gaps and has white spots on it. Two weeks ago I went and saw a doctor and was diagnosed with strep throat, I have however had tonsilitis almost a year ago, he gave me some antibiotics. I took them for the required 10 days and everything seemed to be fine, now it s coming back again. I have headaches, my tonsils hurt and the gargling with salt water doesn t seem to be helping... please help?

Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to a recurrent tonsillitis.
I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain.
I also suggest using a throat spray and gargle with salty water.
If the symptoms continue, you may need a second cycle of antibiotics .
