What Is The Treatment For Stuffed Nose And Loss Of Balance?

I have been sick for over 2 weeks, stuffed nose, loss of balance, ringing in ears, etc. Been to ENT, scan of sinus shows no infection. Been on predneslone dose pk., been to Allergist, using Sudafed, and 2 nose sprays. Just keep feeling listless, sweaty sitting still. Small improvement
, just took my temp and it is 95.2. Yet I feel hot, and sweaty. Help!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have stuffed nose and loss of balance and ringing in ears which occurs when the upper respiratory track infection left untreated or or occur again , infection spread from upper respiratory track to ear through Eustachian tube and cause symptoms like loss of balance . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , CT scan or examine with otoscope to find out exact cause and rule out condition like inner ear infection . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin for at least 10 days , along with anti inflammatory or decongestants . For now apply dry warm compresses to external ear and keep ear dry .
