What Is The Treatment For Swollen Glands As Tests Says Smooth Muscle Antibody And Bilirubin High?
Hi I m a 35 year old female, do not smoke and only drink on occasion. I m a healthy weight. Recently I attended my doctor as I was having swollen glands on/off in my neck, severe mouth ulcers, fatigue+, generally feeling unwell. They did full bloods. I have tested positive for smooth muscle antibody, and my bilirubin has been high for past 5 years (I was unaware of this until recently) WBC was also high. I was referred to consultant who ordered chest X-ray and told me it was nothing to worry about and will check me once a year. In past few days the fatigue is back my glands were swollen for 2 days and today I have a constant dull ache below my right rib. Even if I lie still it s there. Could it be connected or could I have just pulled a muscle?

What Is The Treatment For Swollen Glands As Tests Says Smooth Muscle Antibody And Bilirubin High?
Hello, No, they are not connected, swollen glands need an ultrasound to say rather they need a biopsy or not and the rib pain may be muscle stretch. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Mirjeta Guni, Endocrinologist
