What Is The Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes In Groin And Underarms?

My son is in the army on the other side of the US n I feel helpless to do anything for him. For a month n a half he has been stopping at sick call with swollen lymph nodes in his groin n under his arms. He says he has no fevor but feels bad every day like he has the flu. Loss of appetite and just an all over aching feeling. They performed blood work on him but say it comes back normal. They dismiss his symptoms as nothing n will not refer him to an internal med doctor. Does anything about his symptoms create a red flag for you. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,
I reviewed your medical history.
Your son is having swollen lymph nodes in groin and underarms. One of the common causes for swollen lymph nodes is infection like tuberculosis.
Since he is also having loss of appetite and flu like symptoms he requires evaluation to rule out infections like tuberculosis.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for further evaluation and treatment.

Thank you
