What Is The Treatment For Swollen Painful Lymph Nodes?

My smokers cough has become more persistent. I woke up this am with 2 swollen lymph nodes, one behind me ear(bony part) hard and very painful. the other one I just noticed is on the same side down about 3 inches. I have a slight fever. Should I see my Dr. soon?
