What Is The Treatment For The Orthostatic Hypertension Causing A Drop Of BP In Standing Position?

I have orthoscatic hypetension, positional 3 different blood pressure readings. 1 hgh when in a lying down, 2 sitting, a drop. then standing about a 20 points drop from the lying down position. upon rising in the morning I get dizzy and have to roll on my left side slowly. I cannot move for about 10 min. grab my cane, afraid od falling.

Hi. The most common cause for this anti hypertensive medications. I assume you are not on them. Another cause is autonomic neuropathy mainly in diabetics. A drug called fludrocortisone is useful in such patients. Hope it helps. Take care.
