What Is The Treatment For The Chronic Prostatitis And Nausea?
Hi, I was diag with chronic prostatitis, in 2011. Initial cipro and amoxicillin courses helped, but it came back. I have pain, and flu like symptoms, with no fever. It flares up every year or so. Is there a med I can take to kill it once and for all, or at least manage this nauseating feeling I get?
Hello and welcome to health care magic. Chronic prostatitis is a condition which is difficult to treat completely. The best option is to visit a Urologist and let him do a urine culture with antibiotic sensitivity. Then you will be admitted and will be given higher antibiotics like meropenem(depending on the test result) as injections. It should be taken for a minimum period of 2 weeks. It's a costly treatment but can result in a permanent cure. Hope this discussion will be helpful to you. Thank you.
