What Is The Treatment For The Painful Bartholine Cyst?

Hi, I am 19 and currently suffering from bartholins cyst. It is extremely painful and it is huge , slightly smaller than the size of a golf ball. I ve been given antibiotics and pain medicine and nothing seems to work. This has been happening for the last 3 months , once a month slightly before my period. I decided that I was going to get an incision this time but my period came. Would the doctors be able to go in and drain the cyst for me? Being that it s so painful especially rubbing against my pad ?

Hello!
Thanks for your query.
The best teratment for repeating , painful Bartholinitis cyst is incision and drain .
The doctor will be able because drainage is not a difficult procedure.
Now to relieve your pain you can use sitz baths with warm water 3 to 4 times in a day and soak it with a gauze.

All the best and fast recovery
