What Is The Treatment For The Swollen And Painful Face?

My Pcp told me a had parotitis and put me on emycin I had swelling and pain rt side of face in front of ear I did not get better he sent me to er for iv antibotics but er doc said my WBC not elevated so I did not have infection I still have pain swelling and feel awful so what is wrong with me I'm awaiting ENT appt
