i have a small echogenic foci with shadowing right kidney pole 7mm and theleft kidney upper pole 5mm no hydronephrosis normal urinary bladder in walls and lumen prostate homogeneous in textures measuring 20cc impression :bilateral small renal calculi normal urinery blader and prostate this is my ultrasound result and i have more frequency so what is the best medicine i can take
As there is no hydronephrosis, the stone is of non-obstructive type. Primary guidelines for better recovery: - Plenty of liquids including boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, barley water - Ayurvedic medications such as Cystone tablet - Diuretic such as Hydrochlorthiazide (12.5 mg) - Urinary alkaliser as potassium citrate - Ureter muscle relaxants such as valtum ( 0.4 mg )
Some surgeons do suggest LASER (extra-corporeal shock wave lithotripsy) therapy in selected cases of the stone management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
