General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As there is no hydronephrosis, the stone is of non-obstructive type. Primary guidelines for better recovery:
- Plenty of liquids including boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, barley water
- Ayurvedic medications such as Cystone tablet
- Diuretic such as Hydrochlorthiazide (12.5 mg)
- Urinary alkaliser as potassium citrate
- Ureter muscle relaxants such as valtum ( 0.4 mg )

Some surgeons do suggest LASER (extra-corporeal shock wave lithotripsy) therapy in selected cases of the stone management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
