I am experiencing vertigo when lying down on my back & some when on my right side. i sit up & feel very dizzy for a brief time (1-2 seconds) then it goes away. Very slight headache on the left side at base of my skull, but not bad enough to take any pain relievers.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are suffering for vertigo and dizziness. Well there can be many reasons for vertigo like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection, head injury , certain medications and due to cervical spondylosis, meniere's disease , acoustic neuroma , sinusitis and multiple sclerosis migraines . So i would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon once to get examination for any injury or cervical spondolysis . You should visit ENT specialist as well. Doctor may order certain test like CT scan , MRI , blood test , audiometery test, and ECG to confirm the diagnosis. You should take antibiotics as well. For now i would like to suggest you some home remedies drink green tea with ginger thrice a day and drink lots of fluids like juices and water . Avoid caffeine product .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
