What Is The Treatment For Yellow Discharge From The Nostril?

Should I see a doctor about a yellow discharge from right nostril, which started today? Previous history quite complex - transverse sinus thrombosis (due to APLS) 14 years ago, BIH so VP shunt fitted. Then 13 years ago CSF leak of clear fluid misdiagnosed for a year as allergy then repaired with a graft. Could the leak have started again?

Yellow discharge is likely to be an infected secretion and is most likely to be due to a sinus infection. Csf leak will be more watery and clear type. however considering your history of repair , i would like you to meet your ent doctor as soon as possible.
Please dont worry , you will be fine.
