What Is The Treatment Of Congestive Heart Failure And COPD?

My father is 88 has congestive heart failure copd and lately has been having a tough time breathing and walking for more than 4 or 5 steps They tested his blood xrays ekg nothing out of the ordinary I am wondering if he has a blockage in his heart the oxygen he uses is 2 liters and he still is having a problem catching his breath even after using inhalers and nebulizers any thoughts

this shows that his effort tolerance has been more likely reduced, which can be due to the fluid overload.
which further hampers the cardiac status,also chronic copd in later stages manifests as congestive cardiac failure
with regular broncho-dilators, nebulisers , he should also be started on diuretics,ace inhibitors,anticoagulants & other cardiac medications.
please take him for a check up with the cardiologists to see the percentage of left ventricular function.
