What Is The Treatment Of Fibroid ?

That s an awful name for a doctor-but probably every one tells u that. My question: I have a huge fibroid . Both opinions agree I should have a hysterectomy. I am almost nearing menapause. I have cysts on both ovaries, a new cyst on on cervix and a hydrosalpinx. My current doctor doesn t do the minimally invasive surgery, she said she would do the bikini cut. What do I think?

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

In massive uterine fibroid with b/l ovarian cysts, surgeons never opt for a minimal invasive procedure.

It’s better for you to undergo TAH as you are about to reach menopause, it will be more effective and good for you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
