What Is The Treatment Of Sore Throat ?

I have been feeling sick for about three days - a severe sore throat (it kind of hurts to swallow), ocassional headache, and a fever (my whole body is very warm). I ve been drinking a lot of water, resting a lot, and gaining more of an appetite over the last few days. But it is hard for me to go to sleep and get a restful night of sleep. In the past couple days I have been waking up about every hour and when morning comes I feel really crummy. I think this episode of illness may be stress related. What should I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.
This is not stress related but the stress of incomplete sleep can enhance the problems you already have.
Please get an Opinion of an ENT Surgeon, get clinical examination done and get an appropriate treatment of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines.
