General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Duphaston (dydrogesterone) is a synthetic form of female hormone progesterone, commonly prescribed during pregnancy to prevent threatened or recurrent miscarriage or preterm delivery. There is no evidence that taking duphaston during pregnancy is harmful so continue taking it as prescribed.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
