Hi,

Gulkand is basically a sweet preserve of rose petals. It is used as an ayurvedic medicine. This sweet rose petal preserve which is also taken by many regularly doesn't have any harm on the baby growing inside the pregnant women. It should be avoided in case if the pregnant women have diabetes. Loaded with antioxidants, it is a great healing remedy for the acidity problem, stress, constipation problems, gastritis, indigestion, ulcers, palpitations, hypertension, mouth ulcer etc which are very common in pregnancy.

Kumkumapoo is the dried stigma of the crocus sativus flower. It is thread like structure that contains pollen, located at the centre of the flower. Consuming kumkumapoo in pregnancy is safe because it has numerous medicinal properties. It helps to relieve stress, aches and pains, mood swings, pregnancy discomforts etc. But, some precautions should be
maintained when adding kumkumapoo to your diet: Consume kumkumapoo only at the onset of the fifth month of gestation, as the pregnancy is stable at this time and premature contractions is reduced. Use only 2-3 strands as excessive kumkumapoo may adversely affect health. Kumkumapoo for pregnant women should be collected only from high quality resources to eliminate any risk of artificial colouring or impurities.

Take care. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.
