What Is The White Stuff Formed On The Laceration Of The Tongue?

I got in a fight a while back and accidentally bit down on my tongue causing a laceration, Ive left it alone as I was told. Only thing i have done, is used a saline wash and some mouthwash to help disinfect the area lf the cut. Now, it has been about 40 hours since the cut firat happened and I am noticing some white stuff forming on the cut. Is that normal? Should I peel it off?

I have get your answer.

If there is white stuff without pus then its ok. You should not peel it off. Keep on using saline mouth wash for 2- 3 days more, it will be alright. It is natural way of healing.
