What Is The White Vaginal Discharge After A Miscarriage?

hello I am 24 years old and recently found out I was pregnant. I had a miscarriage and now I have vaginal discharge that is white with blood sometimes mixed in and diarrhea more recently. The discharge has a slight smell. I was wondering if maybe perhaps I have a bacterial infection or it this something tht normally occurs after a miscarriage. Thanks
