I have a white, waxy spot on my finger. I can scratch it off painlessly with my thumbnail, but it slowly grows back. I also notice a small patch of what appears to be the same material elsewhere on my hand, have not tried the scratching thing there. Also, an area on my face has some scarring from a year-old injury, this looks whiter and more prominent too. Any thoughts?
It can be Fungal infection, kindly KOH microscopy done to conirm the diagnosis. If confirmed than u can start oral as well as topical antifungals.
