What Is The Yellowish Bump Just Before The Periods?

I have had irregular periods every since I have gotten i gotten my period. Usually right before my chest hurts for awhile then stops and discharge is stringy right before like clearish and very sticky then goes away to whitefish discharge and found today a very small clump of yellow kinda sticky. Also I know I should stop but I put my fingers in there a lot to see if my period has come. Is that the problem of the discharge? A lot of people say its pregnancy but its been three weeks since protected sex and I still feel the same. No sypmtpms of pregnancy or tiny peach bump in tummy. Its really stressing me seeing their stuff and its bad on my anxiety

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi,

There is nothing much to worry about. But an ultrasound examination of whole abdomen will be required.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy S. Bhattacharjee, OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine
