Hi,
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy occurs as constrictive or dilated. Even the causative factor is important. In pateints who get it due to substance abuse, it is reversible after stopping the drug. In those who have it due to complications of hypertensive heart disease, it is usually medications that stabilize the condition.
