What Is Trucut Biopsy Of Breast Cancer?
What is trucut biopsy of breast cancer .Is it helpful for hormon therapy . My mother aged 85yrs. has developed breast lump(Mobile) of irregular shape for the last three yrs. Recently it is growing rapidly and the present size is 10cm x 10cm. Doctor suggested for trucut biopsy and hormon therapy to reduce the size and then surgery . Is the treatment paln is OK considering her age. Can u suggest for any other plan.

You should go by the Oncologist's advise. Surgery would be better but the age and the accompanying conditions have to be considered.
True cut biopsy is the good answer to you mother. After the tissue type is confirmed, theatment can start. Please do not ignore. You have already complicated things by not doing anything for 3 years. Now the tumour has become very big 10 cm is very big. it may be dangerous to wait further.
