What Is Turnaround Time For Calcirol Powder To Show Effect In Body?
My mom has been diagnosed with acute Vitamin D deficiency. The doctor has prescribed her Calcirol powder to be taken twice a week. She is feeling acute pain in her leg bones. How much time will it take to get results from medicines? She is 55years old.

The time taken depends upon the intestinal absorption of calciraol, Within weeks she should be fine.
Please add Vitamin A 1 capsule twice a day for 3 days and calcium tablets too.
This will help in early absorption and better recovery.
IT is always better to go for the X-rays of the painful bones , so that other conditions like chronic osteiitis can be rules out.
