I am so sorry to hear about this absent periods. This drug is actually a birth control pill and can also be used to regulate cycles. However, in a client with
irregular menstruation and who is also hypothyroid, th most likely cause may actually be a poorly treated
hypothyroidism. I will suggest that he takes a look at your numbers and symptoms and make sure they are good before turning to
hormonal regulation of this irregular/absent menses.
If this is the first time that you did not see your menses as intended, then you should be tested for possible
pregnancy. This is the most common cause of missed menses in women of your age.
