What Is Your Opinion About Getting Prescribed Finasteride, Mytee5 And Danclear Shampoo For Severe Hair Loss?
I am facing severe hairloss since last 5 years and almost reached very low density of hair, I have consulted a Dermatologist and he prescribed me to take Finasteride (Fineset 1mg), Mytee 5 (Minoxidil ) and (Danclear shampoo)ketoconazole+zinc pyrithione
Hi there. At the outset, from your description, I take it you have a male pattern hair loss & some form of dandruff. If this is/was the dermatologists' evaluation of your particular hair-raising issue, then I am in total agreement with the line of management. Please do remember to use the shampoo for not more than two times/week but leave it on wet scalp for 10-15 mts contact time at least. Also, I do hope the dermatologist has done all the necessary blood tests & appraised you of the possible side effects of finasteride, however rare. A foot-note will be to remember that hair fall takes place in no time at all where as for hair growth, one has to be patient! Good Luck & Godspeed. Dr Praveen Rodrigues MD
