General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi..welcome to HC magic. For urinary infections, there are number of choices like cephalosporins and fluoroquinolones. but as you already had taken some, and seemed to have not responded, you have probably contracted a drug resistant organism. it requires culture and sensitivity of urine to find out the culprit and choose the most suitable antibiotic rather than taking guesses. you also require to take plenty of oral fluids and keep genital hygeine. all the best..
