What Kind Of Doctor To See For Severe Leg Laceration?

I have a client who suffered a severe leg laceration and subsequently had nerve damage. He is a young man, 23 years old and can no longer perform physical activities such as riding a bike or running without much pain. Before I submit his final demand to the insurance company, what type of doctor should he consult with who can document his loss of use in terms of permanent or partial disability and assign him a % rating and possibly even translate that in a $$ figure??
