What Kind Of Foods Can Be Given To A Person With Discomfort Stomach?

My mother had a very bad nose bleed for nearly 9 days and was hospitalised she is now out of hospital but says her stomach feels sick and can t eat and is very weak.is there anything we can give her to settle her stomach as she vomited up yellow stuff yesterday

I appreciate your concern for your mother.

I can understand her problem related to stomach upset which could have developed due to acidity.

She should take light liquid diet like soups, milk, yoghurt/curd, with plain white rice, vegetables and fruits. She must void hot and spicy foods, fatty meals, carbonated sweetened drinks, coffee, etc.

Drugs like PPI with domperidone would be an effective combination of medications in such conditions.
