Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My brother-in-law collapsed in his driveway last night and the Trauma Team is telling my sister they believe from the Cat Scans that he had an anurizm. He is on a ventilator and not responsive to the pupil testing. He is squeezing hands though. I had a seizure at the end of October and had never had one. Could I also have brain damage that would cause me to have an anurizm?
Seizures in this case are caused by bleeding in the brain. What is your age? Considering the fact that you had a seizure for the first time, I would recommend performing a brain MRI, in order to exclude a brain lesion, including a born defect or an aneurysm.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
