What Leads To Cracking Sound At Back And Pain After Lifting Heavy Object?
Hello, so ever since I lifted this heavy object off the ground I felt a small pop on my back and now its been a week and I have trouble bending down. But when i foam roller the lower right side of my back (where all the pain seems to be coming from) it feels better and i can do alot more mobility exercises. I also feel a hard bump on that lower right side of my back.
Condition of cracking sound at back with pain after lifting heavy object indicates possible issue of para-spinal muscle spasm or strain most likely. My guidelines for better recovery: - Local application of heating pad - Use of analgesic spray or ointment containing Diclofenac, linseed oil with or without Capsaicin - Assisted physiotherapy or foam roller as using already - Avoid sudden bending, weight lifting - Postural adaptations for avoidance of certain postures - Control of blood sugar
Consult your doctor if necessary for pain control or need of an X-ray.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
