What Leads To Excess Sweating?

My body is not sweating right now. Two days ago I ate really spicy food that made me sweat and yesterday I was in the sun all day. Last night, I felt really weak and hot. I used a wet cloth to cool me down and then felt good enough to go to sleep. Is it possible the spicy food clogged my sweat glands? How do I get my body to start sweating again?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Any spicy food, exposure to direct sunlight, and body exercise can make your body sweat. Hence, you can induce sweat glands by any mean of the previous factors.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
