i'm a 19-year-old female college student, and ever since i got out of college for the summer (over a month ago) i've been sleeping for 14-20 hours a day. i have a very difficult time waking up, and when i do i usually feel tired and have to take a nap after 2 or 3 hours. it's beginning to negatively affect my life. i have been on anti-depressants for a while, but this is a recent development. can you help?
Hi dear, excessive sleep and loss of interest in world is a part of depression.get some tests done like CBC,ESR, Thyroid profile to rule out organic cause for it.how is your appetite,are you maintaining your self care?please contact your previous treating doctor to adjust your doses of antidepressant or to add on if any drug needed.
