What Leads To Itching And Burning Sensation In Vulva While Suffering From Diabetes?

Hi, I am a diabetic type 2. My blood sugars have ben running high lately. This morning it was 204, but yesterday it was 244, I am very concerned about this. Also, I have been having itching and burning of my vulva area. I went to the doctors about it before, they said I had a slight UTI. I was told to drink water and cranberry juice. It went away, now I am experiencing the same thing. What could be causing this problem?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Went through the description posted by you.
Since you are diabetic, and control of sugar is poor as indicated by you, there is a chance of recurrence in infection.
Kindly get a Urine culture and sensitivity test done and consult Urologist for proper administration of antibiotics and treatment. Continue to drink plenty of fluids and citrus fruit juice.
Wish you good health.
